Sis, You’re Not the Only One!

Let’s just clear this up right now: you are not the only one.

You’re not the only one who feels stretched so thin you wonder if there’s anything left to give. You’re not the only one who has laid in bed, eyes wide open, whispering a prayer you half-believed because your hope felt too small to speak out loud. You’re not the only one who’s walked into church, smiled at the greeter, and wondered if you even belonged in the room.

Sis, you’re not the only one.

Grace-n-Melanin was born from my own whispered prayers and weary questions. It’s for the woman who shows up strong for everyone else but secretly wonders, who shows up for me?

It’s for the woman who carries her melanin like a crown but sometimes feels unseen anyway.

It’s for you the one brave enough to admit that faith doesn’t mean you always feel fearless.

If you hear nothing else today, hear this: God does His best work with the ones who think they’re too much or not enough.

So breathe, sis. Take this day one page at a time. Your honesty is holy here. Your questions are safe here. And your story? It’s still being written by the One who’s never once been surprised by you.

Scripture Reflection:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

Sis, Let’s Reflect:
Where do you feel like you’re the only one? Write it down. Speak it to God. Watch Him remind you — you’re never alone.
